Year-End Prep Checklist

Check compliance and accuracy for deductions, benefits, and earnings Review Time and Attendance guidelines or formulas Confirm correct “Employment Status” for terminated employees Confirm all time entries are accurate and present, if applicable Confirm processing for any cancelled payments Confirm entitlements and vacation is paid, if applicable Confirm all payroll batches are paid and accounted for Ensure pay group processing is updated, including bonuses and adjustments Back up all payroll data Install year-end updates for payroll software

Ready to process payroll for your year-end? Make sure you complete the prep checklist above and dot all your i’s. Once you start the year-end process, many payroll software programs don’t let you go back.
